Who we are
This website and Lightmorphic Talk are provided by Lightmorphic Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17423646, at 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE.
The licence
Lightmorphic Talk is free and open-source software, released under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. That licence, not this page, governs your rights to use, study, change and redistribute the software. Where anything here conflicts with it, the GPL prevails.
The source code is at github.com/lightmorphic/talk.
No warranty
As the GPL states, the software is provided without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. It is dictation software: it will sometimes mishear you. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything that matters without checking what it typed.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
The speech model
The application downloads a speech recognition model on first run. That model is produced by a third party and carries its own licence terms, which travel with the model rather than with this software.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
